It has a thermoplastic coating over its metal seat and back, which insulates them against extreme temperatures, as well as UV damage that would otherwise cause the color to fade. The thermoplastic also protects against rust, corrosion, and vandalism. In-ground and surface mounting options are available for a permanent installation, or it can be ordered with a portable mount base which allows it to be transported anywhere.
